Stampin’ Up! has introduced a phenomenal new tool that is making my life easier! I had so much fun playing with the new Simply Scored today while I was crafting some projects for next week’s Stamp Club Classes. I regret to say that I pre-ordered this amazing gadget a month ago, but haven’t had time to try it out. I can’t wait to use it over and over and over again. I love how easy it was to make these flowers. I have never made them before, but I found myself enjoying it so much that I created more flowers right away! Here’s my first card using the Simply Scored:
This flower was made with a 1″ x 12″ strip of Paisley Petals DSP. I scored the paper every 1/4″ — and yes, it was fast and easy with the new Simply Scored Tool. I was amazed how simple it was for my first time to ever use it — and the flower actually turned out nice the very first time! I added a Vintage Brad to the center of the flower, and a tag pinned on with Vintage Trinkets. To add some texture, I misted the background paper and crumpled it up to distress it. I also added some Chocolate Chip sponging around the edges and on the wrinkled paper. The base card and the Seam Binding are Baja Breeze.
