I am so excited about this week’s special! This week only…….so get ready, set, go! I have already placed my order, and I know you will want to, also. This is the perfect time to try out our fabric for the first time, or get more of your favorite patterns. I particularly recommend the Essentials Fabric (126892) that normally sells for $29.95…….on sale for $14.98. I have enjoyed this so much, and now my second pack is on its way! If you read all the way to the bottom of this post, you might get a special surprise.
Did you know that our Extra Large Fat Quarters are REALLY generous and give you quilting-quality fabric in our fantastic Stampin’ Up! colors? I have sewn all my life, and I was really hesitant to start purchasing our fabric. I’m pretty picky! But let me tell you, it is top-notch fabric that Stampin’ Up! should be proud to offer!
How about some reminders of ways I have used fabric………some don’t even require a machine! You can TEAR the fabric into strips and package loaves of bread like I did one year for Christmas. I’ve done this for birthdays and co-workers, too.
My friend Danielle made me this eyeglasses case….
Using our Big Shote dies and some Sticky Strip (or a hot glue gun), you can make Rosettes for a small metal tin, broaches, or other decorative uses.
Using our Petal Cone die, you can make these awesome scissor holders! Great hostess gift!!! And fill with candy if you don’t want to use it for scissors.
And of course, our buttons are a nice accessory!
Lanyards (with a shabby flower) and key fobs…
Just some of the MANY uses for our fabric………but I’ve sewn MANY more things through the years. The ideas are endless. Please go to my website at www.jdderrick.stampinup.net to place your order or email me your order. The sale lasts through Sunday, March 31st.
BONUS OFFER…. If you live locally, and are willing to come and PICK UP your order, I will throw in FREE SHIPPING during the FABRIC FRENZY! This will not work if you place the order online. You MUST email me!
I just returned home from a couple of days with my girlfriends at Three Mountain Retreat…….peace and tranquility and rest! But I took several sewing projects with me and had a great time working on those while we talked and talked and talked some more. I will look forward to taking photos of them and showing you soon. I made 2 purses, a small quilt top, a pin cushion/thread catcher thingy, a Halloween table runner, and the 3rd block for a block-a-month quilt. I was pleased with my progress and it was GREAT therapy for me. But now I’m home and it’s back to business!
I have a Stampin’ Up! Downline meeting tomorrow night and an event at my church on Thursday night…….and I’m not quite ready for either of them. So, better keep this post short and simple and get busy!
This card uses Daydream Medallions and the coordinating Framelits Dies. I also used a strip of fabric for the accent along the bottom of the card and based my color scheme from this fabric.
I really like the way these stamps and floral shapes layer up and make such a pretty image. You can certainly do much more than flowers with them, but this is what I like most. 🙂 I added one of our tiny clear buttons to the center. I punched the matching shape in Rich Razzleberry cardstock and used Crystal Effects to hold it all together.
Great news…….the Spooktacular Promotion has been extended until September 16th! If you happen to have missed out on this wonderful opportunity and you’d STILL like to visit with me about joining my downline group, please contact me. We also have a meeting tomorrow night that you could attend and see what it’s all about. It’s at my house, and I’d love to have you! If you sign up to be a demonstrator before Sept. 16th, you will get all these supplies to create the Printer’s Tray on the left. PLUS……FIVE NEW STAMP PADS from me! I want to make sure you have all the supplies to get your business started and plenty of new pads to stamp with.
