About Me

new-do-3.jpgI am a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and I work at Extraco Banks as an Executive Assistant.  I LOVE both of my jobs, and that is rare in today’s world!  I squeeze creativity into my life as much as possible, and would love to share that with YOU!   Creating handmade cards and scrapbooking are among my favorite things to do, but I also love to sew, quilt, and travel.  I have 2 daughters in college, one who is a Senior in HS, and a precious 4 4 year old that we recently adopted.  We are foster parents, as well, and we provide safety and stability to infants that have been placed in CPS Custody.  Life is full, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!  God is good, all the time!

  1. Dawn,
I’m very excited about your new blog. I hope it works out for you. Can’t wait to get lots of inspiration and creativity from you!!!

  2. Dawn,

I love reading about your sweet family and seeing your beautiful cards! I just have to know how you are able to give up those precious babies after caring for them. Is it hard? Sure do miss seeing you!

  3. Try to catch you every few days or so. Loved the pictures of the girls at the meets. In fact, say Lindsey last Sunday and she is losing some weight. Hope not too much as she looks wonderful just as she is. All of your girls are precious and beautiful though. Sweet too. How special is that!!!!!!

Keeping Charles in our prayers for his upcoming procedure. Just realized that April 10 is my mother’s 92nd birthday so will be having a party for her and won’t be at work to have access to a computer for updates so keep us posted.

We love all of you a bunch.

  4. Hi Dawn,

I LOVE the acrylic clip board. How about a little mor info… Did you heat set it or put a sealer on?
I was concerned it would scratch off easily–was
that an issue? Think I am going to have to try it. I have done some altered clipboards that I really like, but never even though of doing what
you did. Thanks for your inspiration.

  5. Dawn,
