Father’s Day Card

Sorry for the absence here lately…..I went on a fabulous trip to Arizona for my birthday last week.   I visited my dear friend Charley (who used to live in Waco near me), and we went to Sedona and the Grand Canyon!  It was the best birthday I’ve ever had, and full of girl-time!  It’s amazing how fun a vacation is when you aren’t playing the role of “mom”…..and I loved every minute of it.  More on that later — hopefully I can work on a digital book using MDS.  We only took 587 photos!  Plus the ones on our phones…oh, dear!  Here we are viewing  “Cathedral Rock” — one of the most famous Red Rock Formations in the Sedona area.  The second photo is at the Grand Canyon.  I had never been and was so excited to be able to see it!

I hesitate to show you the last of 3 projects that we did at club in May because all of the supplies are now retired.  However, I know that many of you appreciate the ideas, even when you have to adapt and use other supplies.  So, here goes…

The leaves are from “Gently Falling” and I added speckles from “Gorgeous Grunge”.  I also made a few extras of this card, and stamped a birthday greeting.  I think it makes a great birthday card, as well as a Father’s Day Card.
