FAITH Blocks — My next Stampin’ Up! Class

I am happy to announce my next Stampin’ Up! class!  We will make these beautiful blocks and the hanging tags that say “FAITH”.  These tags will hand loosely on the Vintage Brads so that you can change them for the coming season, or any other words you might want to create on your own.   I will have a FOLLOW UP class later in July where we will create 4 more sets of tags based on the themes of Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Valentine’s Day.  I will be posting photos of those in the weeks to come, but trust me, you will LOVE them all.  You will receive all materials for making the blocks and the FAITH tags at my house during the first class.  Here are the details.  Please RSVP so that I can make sure that I have enough supplies for all of you.

WHAT:  FAITH Blocks Home Decor Class

WHEN:  Tuesday, July 10th

TIME:  6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

WHERE:  Dawn’s House, 505 Gibraltar Lane, Lorena

FEE:  $25 Fee includes 5 Blocks, 5 Vintage Brads, Designer Series Papers, Embellishments, Glue Stick, and Demonstrator Support 🙂

RSVP to Dawn ASAP.  There 12 spots available for this class.

This project features the following Stampin’ Up! products:

First Edition Specialty Paper (on the blocks, p. 162)

Be of Good Cheer Paper (on the tags, p.164)

Big Shot Typeset Alphabet (p. 192)

Big Shot Scallop Rectangle Clearlits (p. 191)

Vintage Brads (p. 174)

Linen Thread (p. 173)

Boho Blossoms Punch (p. 185)

Beautiful Wings Embosslits (p. 188)

Crystal Effects (p. 177)

I would also like to add that I personally designed these tags in Cherry Cobbler so that they would look good in my living room with my colors.  I don’t mind if you want to make them another color — you can replace the Cherry Cobbler paper ONLY — and you will need to bring a piece of paper yourself if you don’t want to make them like mine.  I will only be providing paper in Cherry Cobbler.

Here is a close-up of one of the blocks to give you a better idea of the details.

  1. Dawn, I love this idea it is so cute, would you mind telling me what size the blocks are and the approximate size of tags. I live in NH. Your ideas are wonderful. Thank you

    • Earleen….I can measure at home, but I think they are about 4″ square. I ordered them from Oriental Trading Company. They came with a metal photo pick in them. It was SUPER easy to pull them out and discard them. I’m so glad you liked the project!!! Let me know if I can help in any other way. I believe the tags are about 1 1/2″ x 2 3/4″ — but I can measure at home, as well. Enjoy!
