Father’s Day Card and Graduation Pictures

As we approach Father’s Day, I thought I’d share this card idea with you.  I found the layout idea on Pinterest, and then adjusted it to the papers I had on hand.  The Designer Paper that I used is called “Well Worn” and it is now officially retired.  But this card will look great with any of your more masculine type of papers, so grab some cardstock and see what you can come up with.  I learned how to tie a man’s tie for this card!  Seriously, looked it up online and taught myself!  I used some of our quilted satin ribbon that was a part of the Holiday Mini Catalog this past year.  I think it added alot to the card, instead of just using plain satin ribbon.  I also sponged all the edges — it takes a little more time, but I like the finished look.

We officially survived 3 graduations (Lindsey went to 4!) and I don’t want to do that EVER again.  But I loved seeing all our loved ones graduate and celebrate!  Here is our family picture from Lindsey’s graduation.  I wish we had gotten one with her cap and gown on…..but gotta get over it!

The two happy college girls…….wow!  Two in college, oh dear!

Lindsey and Michael — best friends since 4th grade — now both are headed to college!

This is Kimi’s adoptive family.  Most of you will remember little Kimi that we fostered for about 19 months.  She is adorable!  She will be 4 years old in September.

Allyson’s boyfriend, Joel, came to celebrate with us.  Allyson left yesterday and went back to Wichita Falls to see his family for a few days.  He’s the sweetest, kindest young man……..think he might be a keeper!

As you can imagine, I have TONS of pictures, but these are a few of my favorites.  I will be back soon with stamp projects.  I am headed to my creative corner right now!   Sarah has left for cheer camp, Lindsey is leaving today for church camp, and Allyson is with Joel.  So it’s time to work on Stampin’ Up! projects and have fun while I WORK!  I love this part of my job!
