At our club classes this month, we made this miniature scrapbook that folds open to display photos. These make wonderful gifts or small keepsakes of an event. I’ve already had friends make more using it for baby gifts and graduation gifts. Take and peek and see how easy this is! I got this idea from another blog, and it happens to be one of my favorites, names Trinity Designs. You can link up here. On her blog, she calls it the Butterfly Album. She used beautiful butterflies on the front but I didn’t have those so I altered mine a bit. Changed a few other things, but basically cased her idea. Thank you so much for the inspiration!
If you like what you see, and you are interested in coming to my house and creating projects like those shown on this blog, I’d like to give you “food for thought”. We will be organizing and starting new CLUB CLASSES in August. You can come and be a part of the fun ONCE a month. We create 3 projects and I give out full instructions and patterns for each project. You will get a new Stampin’ Up! catalog for FREE, and get to be the hostess one time during the 10 month period. We will meet for 10 months, and your committment is to order each of those ten months. You do not pay for any supplies, but you do commit to ordering at least $15 each month. That’s it!
On a personal note, my Father-in-law sees the Oncologist today to begin a plan of action for his cancer treatments. He is a 3 time survivor, so he knows what lies ahead, but it will still be a long road. He is 70 years old and his first cancer was found 15 years ago.
And about Josiah…..he will begin transitioning home today. He will start with some visits at his mom’s apartment, and gradually work up to unsupervised visits and overnight visits. This process will take about 5 weeks to complete. This is the part of the journey that we DON’T much like, and it is the emotional part that is very hard on us. Coupled with Allyson graduating, it is a tough time for me. I’m trying to stay very busy and not think about how sad this all is. I’m sewing for some people and trying to get an ETSY shop set up right after graduation. I’m hoping that survival mode will kick in…..ha! Please pray for Josiah as he adjusts to his new life. Trust me, he will have alot of adjustment, and have to learn Spanish, too!
Allyson’s Senior Scrapbook (part of her English GRADE) is due on Monday, so we are scrapbooking every waking moment. Better get busy!
