This might look familiar to you because I showed this bag a week or two ago — but it had a pumpkin on it (and different colors, of course!) — and I decided to have these as one of my Stamp Club projects. I gave them 3 choices — the pumpkin version, the gingerbread version, or the cupcake version. Each focal image came from the “Got Treats” stamp set. I hope you will notice the Paper Piercing Designs around the edges of the Very Vanilla squares. Many of the ladies in our group had not ever used our Mat Pack and Paper Piercing Tool to do this kind of embellishment. This is a very quick and easy way to spruce up the image, and you don’t have to spend any more money. Well, barely any! The Mat Pack is only $9.95 and the Piercing Tool is only $3.50. Makes you just want to go out and order two of them, huh? Just kidding, but if you don’t own ONE OF THEM, you need to give me a call!
Here’s a close up look at the cupcake. I decided to add Crystal Effects to all of my stamped images. My ladies loved that, too! And it is another “cheap” way to embellish. One bottle at $6.25 will last you a few years!
On a personal note, my daughter Lindsey was in a wreck this weekend. We are praising the Lord that no one was hurt and the damage to the cars was minimal. However, she has a possible fracture in her right foot from slamming on the brake! Sounds crazy, but it is still a little swollen and bruised, and she can’t bear weight on that side of her foot. We are praying that it is NOT broken, but we will be getting it x-rayed this morning. I’m still hoping it is just a bad bruise, but I need to get it checked out before she can cheer any more.
We are waiting on word as to when more tests will be run on my mom. We are in a “holding pattern” right now.
So, lots of things going on around here — not to mention my “normally” busy schedule………these are just 2 of the newest things!
Have a great day and fun week!
