I had a few requests for some more Ribbon Shares, so here are the 2 offers I have at this point.  I am open to doing more of these should there be a demand.  My club girls have enjoyed some buttons and ribbons so much that I have sold out before even offering them on my blog!  Let’s see how long these last….

This project was a simple little treat that I came up with for a church activity tonight.  I help lead the GA Program (Girls in Action Missions Organization) on Weds. nights and we needed something for the teachers at a local school that we partner with.  My friend that I teach with  bought these little plastic containers and filled them with Hershey Kisses.  Then she brought them to me for “creative assistance” — and I came up with this idea.  I stamped and punched everything out ahead of time and then let the girls layer the punched shapes to make the toppers for the containers.  We used a color scheme of So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink and Certainly Celery (got that from the colors of the kisses wrappers).  My stamped image is from THINK HAPPY THOUGHTS and I stamped it with Bashful Blue.  The jewels on the top were a big heat with the kids!  I did not use Stampin’ Up! stones for this project……sorry, had to go for something cheaper for this one!   I also used a variety of ribbons that I had here at the house.  I didn’t want to use up my supply of Stampin’ Up! ribbons and I wanted to offer them a variety to choose from.  My only mistake was that I assumed the young girls could tie bows around the container — and my assumption was NOT CORRECT.  Actually, some of them tied bows better than my customers!  🙂   All in all, the girls did a great job on them and they were very easy to complete.  Have a great Thursday…….the week is coming to an end rather quickly!  Where did all my time go???
