Movers and Shakers….

No, I’m not talking about a new dance I created………it’s a new Big Shot Die!  You can see this die on page 195 of the Spring Catalog, but you may not quite understand how special it is.   This is the “Curly Label” die — it features a movable magnetic piece that allows you to cut the “window” wherever you want it.  You can move it right, left, top, bottom, or center of your card — anywhere you place it.  This pairs up with the Cute and Curly Stamp Set/Punch Bundle on page 185 of the Spring Catalog.  So, here are a few cards that will showcase how this works when you put it all together.

Supplies:  Stamps:  Cute and Curly, Bella Toile Background Stamp;  Cardstock:  Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White;  Ink:  Pacific Point; Accessories:  Curly Label Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, Button Bouquet Designer Buttons, Kiwi Kiss Striped Grosgrain Ribbon; other:  White Floss DMC.

Close up of the window detail — the white piece is punched with the Curly Label Punch (hand held punch) and adhered to the inside of the card.  The window on the front was cut out using the Big Shot Die.

This second card is a Monochromatic Card using Tangarine Tango.  This time I used words and flowers from new sets that are featured in the new Mini Catalog.  You can start ordering from this catalog on Weds., April 1st.  This was a very quick card and I loved how simple the Big Shot made it all happen!  Take notice of the new Organdy Ribbon — with the satin running down the middle……absolutely gorgeous!!!   I will have more tomorrow…….have a great day!

  1. Wow! Both of these cards are so awesome. I had seen a demo on you tube on how to use the movers dies, but not really any cards made with it. You have such cute cards. I like the punch, too.
