Ghirardelli Chocolate Holder

I made this little candy holder right after Christmas with some Ghirardelli chocolates that were on sale at Target the day after Christmas.  I bought two bags of them because the wrapper is PINK!!!  My personal favorite, and the perfect color for my Valentine treats!  This is a “re-make” from last year using the Love You Much set.  For those of you that look at the Chic ‘n Scratch Blog by Angie, you will see a similar treat that was posted yesterday.  I am tempted to say “great minds think alike”………but she is so much more creative than I am!   After all, the candy holder from last year came from her.  I wouldn’t even know how to do them without her tutorial!    I think she must have a little more time to stamp than I do………or maybe she doesn’t do any other hobbies like I do……..but I love too many different things!   If you are not familiar with her site……….please go there!  She is one incredibly awesome demonstrator!loveyoumuch2

Supplies Used:  Love You Much stamp set and DSP; Cardstock:  Close to Cocoa, Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla;  Ink:  Close to Cocoa, Riding Hood Red; Accessories:  Pink Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals, Sticky Strip, Scallop Circle Punch.

Special Note:  I was making this from “memory” and did not make it “tall” enough, so that my candy was sticking out a little bit at the top.  I still wanted to show you the sample, but my dimensions are a little off.  Just follow the tutorial by Angie, or give me a day to dig for my CORRECT dimensions and I will post another one.  That is what I get for being lazy and not looking for them at the time.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!  I hope your year is full of blessings!  I am excited about how God will use us this year, the new opportunities that may come our way, and our year (potentially) with baby Kimberlynn.

Love to you all!  Dawn
